Trapped In Reflection
The shoot, "Trapped in Reflection," explores the tension between freedom and self-confinement through the art of dance. Set in a minimalist space surrounded by mirrors, a dancer is captured at the intersection of grace and restraint. The mirrors symbolize inner struggles, reflecting fragments of the dancer's movements while distorting her sense of self. With each pose, her body seems to stretch between reality and illusion, as if trapped in a maze of her own making.
The lighting is soft and ethereal, casting elongated shadows and creating a play of light and reflection that enhances the feeling of entrapment. Movement flows from sharp, angular poses to fluid, expressive gestures, illustrating the internal battle between escape and surrender.
This series tells the story of self-discovery, the power of expression, and the emotional complexity of being caught between who we are and how we perceive ourselves.
